This is Billy Bob and the Consortium
Let’s Have a Conversation Today
Morning, How Do We Move Past This, New Season, How?
Good morning, guys, it is still not feeling good, us getting together without her being with us, but it is important for us to keep moving or we become just another number out here. I have a very important question for us today. Can we add a new friend who is really struggling and needs help to get by out here. Billy Bob, have you checked him out, you know what I mean. Yes, I have sone all of that, and he is cool, former military and not well. Sure, let’s meet him.
Okay, give me a minute, I will go get him and we can all enjoy coffee together this morning. Morning folks, I am Bill, thanks for letting me sit in with you folks, it means a lot to me. Sit down, you are welcome here any time you want to join us, Bill. We always have fresh coffee and if Pete pulls off one of tricks, we can also eat in the morning. Food, you are able to get food these days. Not every day, but most days. I don’t know how to survive out here yet. That is what Billy Bob was saying, we will help you learn the ropes to make it a little easier. Most days it is hard, just hard, the mess in my head, makes me think bad things and I just do not know what to do, you guys are willing to help me? We may not get the bad things to go away but we can make sure you are not alone, and that you get food and a safe place to lay down and rest. And, Bill, if there is a real bad day, one of us will stay with you the whole day. Wow, you guys are better than the VA services, thanks.
Bill, we just lost a real good friend, and we have been struggling and trying to decide how to move forward and what we can do to not lose another. That hurts when they die out here, I am sorry. Yea, she was tough, and her life was more tough, but we can’t lose another one, we are trying to figure how to help the other ones out here who are hiding.
Pete, what about food, did you find any new sources if we shuffle things around for the season change? Yes, I have some ideas, and I think that we can make it work. What about you Frankie, how have your walks been going lately? It has been hard to dodge the police presence lately, but I walk at oddball times and that makes it easier, but finding a deep hiding spot has become hard. Guys, what about a new area entirely?
Mike, what do you mean? I mean go north or south a little bit so that it is all fresh and easier to hide for the at risk ladies. Sounds good, but to find food, safe open restrooms, water and all that would make it real hard. It is tough to weight out hiding from police and finding everything we need, keep looking guys.
Hey, guys, you work to hide the ladies who are out here because of violence. Yes, Bill, we do, this is our new purpose since we have lost Barb, we have decided we ain’t losing another one to that garbage. I have a spot that would be near to ideal for this project of yours and would love to show it to y’all. Really, that would be awesome, are you sure you want to share it? Yes, you folks are doing something good, that is important.
Pete, where did this coffee come from today, it is strong and fresh, we have not had this good a cup in a very long time. I have a special spot that loves to help those going through tough times and today was the day to pay them a visit. And check the box by your feet my friend. Oh, snap, really, fresh sandwiches for all, and dessert, man, thank you, dive in all, it is not a day to be hungry. Do you treat all guests like this? You are not a guest, if we invite you in you are a part of the Consortium, here to stay, unless you decide to leave. Darn, the government could learn a lot from y’all.
We have a motto out here, no one is left alone unless they say that is what they want. And now we are thinking and trying to find better ways to help the forgotten, hiding and old ones out here that this darn country does not care enough to house, feed and watch over anymore. I can tell this Barb lady meant a lot to you folks, and I am truly sorry for her loss, but I want to help you in this new season please. Bill, glad to have you.
See, Bill, we get together regularly, we talk, we fuss, we complain, but what we do is we vent, we talk about the stuff the American government won’t face, and it is stuff that is destroying this nation. Okay, interesting way to spend time in the morning. Yea, it keeps us from getting tired and soft and dull and keeps us on our toes, so we don’t get trapped by a snare and end up going where we don’t want to. The only rule we have, if you call it that, is we don’t share our sleeping spot information, unless we are watching over a vulnerable one and need help. That is good to know.
So, Pete, the new season, what are your grand ideas, since I know you have been drinking too much coffee and doing a lot of thinking, please share, we need to hear. Guys, honestly, the thinking is just starting, I have been so angry that I have had to deal with that so I didn’t make any real stupid moves and end up gone. Pete, I understand that completely. Thank Frankie. I think it is going to be easy, with the new spot Bill is sharing and the food sources we have, the key will be getting the old ones and the ladies to the spot and protecting them there. Shade and shelter and that stuff to keep them out of the elements, but also not visible for the authorities to see? Yes, with a little work and intervention. Great, we have Barb’s Project moving.
Frankie, have you found any other places for the use that we are needing currently? Not really it is real hard right now with all the laws and rules and changes and the police and authorities are everywhere, but I have one last place to check out tomorrow. Frankie, would you like to me to go and help you tomorrow? Bill, that may be the only way to get to this area without being seen, tag team and distract, thanks. Perfect, just let us know.
Hey Folks, it’s me Billy Bob and Pete just wanted to fill you in a little bit on the Consortium’s talk this morning. Barb died because the laws of the land could not protect her from her abuser, even out here on the streets. Our talk today and recently is this, if the laws and government can’t protect them out here, then we, a bunch of homeless, no accounts will, we decided we won’t lose another. To us, who have lost everything and survive hand to hand, day by day, it makes us sad that you, the housed citizen is okay with them dying out here. Selah
